I Went From $12,000 Debt to 0
A very well-known debt collector sent me a claim for an old closed account for $12,000. I tried to negotiate with them and asked them for un-redacted documents, and they kept sending me a bunch of scary legal forms and requests to garnish my wages. I tried to work things out on my own, but I could not understand what all these legal documents meant. I contacted Mr. Douglas and explained my situation. He set me up on a very reasonable payment plan, which no other attorney had done, and in three months I received a letter from the debt collector that they had dropped the case completely!
